BCC: Belgian Cost of Cybercrime Research project










The Belgian Cost of Cybercrime (BCC) project is a four-year interdisciplinary research project on the cost and impact of cybercrime in Belgium. It is carried out by researchers of five research centers at the University of Leuven and University of Gent.

It is funded by BELSPO (Belgian Science Policy Office) under the BRAIN (Belgian Research Action through Interdisciplinary Networks) progamme. The project started in December 2013 and will end in August 2018.

Pooling expertise in computer science, criminology, communication sciences and law, four teams of researchers are jointly conducting the project under the coordination of KU Leuven Centre for IT & IP Law (CiTiP)
